Neighbourhood Improvement Project
Following our community consultation in the summer of 2023 nearly 20% of you said that you would like to see improvements in the local environment and as a result Hednesford Town Council are delighted to launch their Neighbourhood Improvement Project
With funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) work has already started to tidy up and enhance areas of our town and to continue to make Hednesford a fantastic town in which to live, work, play and visit
Work that can be covered includes; weed removal on public footpaths and highways, cutting back overhanging shrubbery, cleaning road signs and bus shelters, repainting of posts, litter picks, skip days to name but a few
Please note that this project does not cover public roads (pot holes), parks, tree work or private or domestic properties
If you know of an area near you that would benefit from Hednesford’s Neighbourhood Improvement Project then please let us know and report it to: admin@hednesford-tc.gov.uk providing date, location and nature of the issue. If you can provide a photo then this would greatly help and speed up any action to be taken

Mind Your Local Business
In the lead up to Small Business Saturday on 7th December Hednesford Town Council are thrilled to launch our new free business boost programme for our small independent businesses and charities located within Market Street, Hednesford and surrounds
Utilising the UK Shared Prosperity Fund we are pleased to be able to offer a free bespoke social media advert for each business to use and which will be shared across multiple social media channels and feature on the Hednesford Town Council webpage
Funding is limited so businesses are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible
