Further good news was shared at the full council meeting last night, Wednesday 27th November 2024, regarding the installation of 3 additional bleed kits across the Hednesford area
Using CIL funds Community Officer, Matt Johnson, together with West Hill Ward Councillor and Champion for the provision of further bleed kits, Cllr Arthur Roden, were able to install the kits into the existing AED devices at The Samson Blewitt in Hednesford, outside the Trocaderro Fish bar, Hill Street and within the AED cabinet outside the Smokehouse on Market Street.
Councillor Roden informed “I’m so proud that Hednesford Town Council has been able to continue this vital provision for Hednesford since the first Bleed Kit was sponsored by Pat Roden a few years ago. These Bleed Kits really do save lives, and it is reassuring to have them available for our residents to use in an emergency.”
